Spirits of Island Cemetery, Oct. 17, 2026

This year’s Spirits of Island Cemetery came alive with our largest turnout yet! Beneath a beautiful autumn sky, guests met Mrs. Elizabeth Champlin Mason Perry, Mrs. Jane Emmet Griswold, Mr. Theodore Montgomery Davis, Mrs. Jane Slidell Perry, and, of course, August Belmont. The bracing cold only added to the atmosphere as stories of these remarkable residents unfolded—bringing the cemetery’s history to life for an unforgettable evening!
